Jaimon Lidsey scored 20 points and won the FOGO FIM Speedway U21 World Championship final in Pardubice. Dominik Kubera got silver, while Latvian, Oleg Mihailov ended on the third place.
The first series of racing was full of uncommon situations. In the opening heat, Luke Becker was excluded due to a tape touch. The opening wasn't easy for the Poles. Dominik Kubera and Jakub Miśkowiak scored just one point each.
From the beginning of the meeting, Jaimon Lidsey was unstoppable. Only one point lost in heat no. 16 to Dominik Kubera proved his today's form. To the joy of local fans, Czech riders where in great condition today. Especially local hero, Jan Kvech who was second after the first part of the competition. Thanks to his win in the last heat, Jakub Miśkowiak moved to sixth place and got promoted to the semis.
In the first semifinal, Lidsey was on the lead from start to the finish line. Also Dominik Kubera got promoted to the final.
In the second semifinal, Jan Kvech fell on the track, which meant, that none of the Czech riders would attend the final.
In the last heat of the day, fans witnessed a duel between Jaimon Lidsey and Dominik Kubera, which was won by the Australian.
